i dont know if this is even the right place for this kinda question.....but you all have given me some good advice in the past so im hoping i can get alittle more.

i think i found an "explicit" pic of my OW online. she swears that it's not her.....but there are too many conincidences to ignore (excluding the fact that it looks ALOT like her). should i trust that she says it's not her? if not, what should i do?

If you don't trust her, then ask yourself what are you doing with her. If you are going to have a relationship, you need to have trust between the people in it. If you don't have or cannot trust, then it's not a good relationship. Maybe it can be changed, maybe it cannot.

As someone who has an alleged "twin" (and I don't even have any sisters!), that people who know me very well swear looks "just like" me, I have to urge some caution here. Depending on what these "coincidences" are, don't be too quick to convict her on circumstantial evidence. Besides, how can she possibly prove to you that it's NOT her?

I would have to agree with MrsHedgeHog...

What were you looking for when you happened upon her picture?

Savannah, I also had an alledged twin. I grew up in a medium sized town for Brazil and everywhere I go people would call me by another name (I think it was Denise) and I would say "No, sorry, my name is Maria". It happened so many times!

One day the guy at the shoes shop told me about this girl who was about my age, looked exactly like me, etc, etc. Fortunately she was quite well behaved. :)

It may be just a coincidence.

You could be mistaken. I also look like many other women. Last week, an estimator came to my house to give me a price for new windows. She swore that she knew me, but we had never met. That has happened to me many times throughout my life. People get the funniest look on their face and have a hard time believing that I am not someone they have met.

Many women have let an ex take photos of them during intimate moments in the interest of "love". Then, after they have broken up, guess what, they find out their ex has posted the photos on the internet. Even ex-husbands have done that. Oh my goodness, I think I have heard that boyfriends and husbands do that out of pride even when they are still in the relationship! Maybe it is a good idea to keep the camera out of the bedroom.
It is possible that is what happened to your girlfriend. I wouldn't bug her about it if I were you.

My "twin" is not so well behaved. In fact, when I first heard about her, she was performing as an exotic dancer. I said, "Excuse me? A skinny, flat-chested stripper??", but they swore she looked JUST LIKE me.

It wouldn't come as a huge surprise to find out she has pics all over the net, too.

like MariaLux and I had a (morphological not biological) twin. It only happened while in high school but my pals would come and ask me who those people were that I was out with and why wouldn't I speak to them! Isn't that a frightening thought? I don't think I'd jump to any conclusions though. Thins of how many people there are in the US alone and how many ways you can put the human face and body together. I'd be leery of telling someone off because of a coincidence like this. It seems you are jumping to conclusions without any justification. Another thing, even one accusation or question may break your relationship. I'd tell someone who asked me about something like that to drop dead pdq.
