I was nervous on my way to meet her (as I'm sure she was), but only because I was so excited and happy that she was here. :D When we got together, though, it was just as natural and comfortable as the way we talk over the phone and the nervousness was instantly gone. It wasn't awkward at all. Quite the opposite, in fact. It did, indeed, feel comfortable...and so very right.

After many-a nights on the phone (4 hours at a time) or on the net, we knew we would meet one day. We simply liked each other from the start. So, the other night rolls along and I had some time. I drove the almost 5 hours to see him. I had only sent him the email saying I was on my way, while he was at work. I drove through a little rough weather(rain and wind) and some dark country roads and it was so worth it! A split second of being nervous, until I seen that smile of his, his face:) I was so very happy. He was everything I had hoped and more. For me it has been like two lost loves finding there way back together again. Yep, I love him.
So, to the ones who have given up all hope ( I had) or feel It's impossible, don't. I'd been single for many years. When I talked to Eric, I thought "just friends" becuase we didn't have everything in common(horror movies eek!:eek: ) but something truly amazing between us developed. Never say Never!

Indeed it was. Was it ever! And it still humbles me that you drove through all that to see me. No one has ever done anything like that before. But oh was it a pleasant surprise!
