QuietScot 12-14-2003, 01:27 PM I wish you a safe journey, and hope that you have a great time with family and friends back in Brazil. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year, probably spent on the beach, lucky thing!
And come back to Europe as soon as you like!
Maria 12-14-2003, 05:15 PM Thank you, Andy, I will come often to visit, but I'll miss Ageless, this is sure!
Very sweet of you to open this thread, thank you! :)

Patricia 12-14-2003, 05:19 PM Bon voyage, cherie! What time does your plane leave tomorrow? What time will you arrive in Brasil? Do you have to change planes along the way? Will someone pick you up at the airport? Give us all the details (can you tell that I am a vicarious traveller?).
Maria 12-14-2003, 05:51 PM Patricia, I am like you! I am so curious, too! :) I'm happy you asked, I have fun just to think about this trip!
I leave tomorrow at 6:30 pm, but have to be there at the Lux airport 2 hours before. I fly about 50 minutes or less to Frankfurt, and from there I leave to São Paulo - about 13 hours flight, I think. I arrive in Brazil at 7 am, and then take a car to go to my city (SP is in up the "mountain" and my city is in the sea). It's about 1 hour by car!
I have already sent my mom my menu for tuesday morning. I want to eat our national dish, feijoada. Then, in the afternoon I will probably go see the sea and walk in the send and cry as I always do when I go back home. I'm such a baby!
The folowing days I'll probably spend shopping, going to the beach with my nephews and nieces. I'll travel south in January (will post the pictures, I have a new digital camera now!) and in February I go to my ancient hospital for a month of recycling in neuropediatrics and pediatrics. That month will be hard, and I'll probably be a bit away from Ageless.

Thank you so much! Thanks Rob for giving us the best site ever (I have more than one reason to love it! ;) ), thanks Youngguy for promising to behaviour, I know how much effort you need to honour that promise :p , whisper and Nessa, thank you very much and you both take care of your nice guys (they better take care of you, too), whiterose (are you better of your throat?), Savannah (keep those guys in their best shapes!), Abby, I go back to my ancient hospital to try to cure my crazyness! :D No, I was trained there as a pediatrician and pediatric neurologist, but because I haven't been able to work here, I need to do these "recyclings" as I call my trainings, every year!
Gen, Sage, thank you for the wishes, I have your addresses! You won't get rid of me this easy, girls! :D And Diana, next year I'll be in Scotland, too, we can come to the continent together, if the Scots let us...;) Especially QuietScot who so kindly opened this thread! We have to make sure LadyinGreen will come with us, as well as Tru, no party will ever be the same without them. Of course Babes and Keris will be there, and with a little luck, Stan? Oh, he's still tied to that bed...he will be there!
And to all of you who stay, I wish you a great New Year, may 2004 bring us all even more peace, harmony and success. And of course, since this is the name of this site, lots of Love to everyone!
I know I have been blessed with so many friends, who made me laugh and enjoy the web, who taught me so many things this year. I've come to love a country (yours!) I thought I knew all about already, and realised it has yet so much to show me. And I have met a special soul here who will know who he is (I expect at least three to identify themselves! :D). Mighty Jason, I will miss you, too, and so much!
I'll be saying a prayer for us all on Christmas day, at the mass.

Maria 12-15-2003, 07:51 AM Yvonne, I'm selling Celtic in Brazil for a fortune. The guy speaks Portuguese, is young, smart and strong, is going to be a big farmer, and at rough times, you know who survive, the farmers! They have the food!
So, would you like to intermediate that?
