Just an idea....

I noticed quite a few threads popping up lately
that address subjects such as our kids, our pets and
other family issues.
I was wondering if maybe a section just for our
"Family Life" might be merited?
Kind of like the sections for we have for "Health", "Movies" and the such.

I think the main subject of interest at Ageless is
relationships we have with the opposite sex,
but our family life plays a big part too.

Anyone else think we need a section just for these topics?

I think the subject of kids and even our pets,
comes up more often than "Movies" or "Politics" and
I would check out a "Family" section if we had one.
But if no one else did, then it would be a waste of time.

I check out the other sections, (and even post to them),
they can be slow to move,
but I still check to see what's new.

And as I titled this thread,...
It's "just an idea..."

I remember someone a while back
suggesting a special section
just for games.
I thought that was a good idea.
Guess there are some here that think
the game threads are a bother.
I think they are fun!

I really like the idea of a Family section! I don't think Chit Chat is appropriate for it. Chit Chat, to me, is more for lighthearted things, even though sometimes people post heavy things here because they don't know where else they can put them, especially if they don't fall in the realm of "Relationship Support".

So, I vote "yes" for a Family Life Section!:) I would most likely check it every day.

I like the idea of a family section, but I tend to agree with Nessa. I think that the more categories that are added, the less likely I am to cruise them. I tend to stick with Chit Chat and Relationship Support and completely forget about all those others at the bottom.

I guess it depends on what interests a person most.
If there is a section here at Ageless that you find yourself
posting in, (and reading other posts), most often, you'll
just "go there" no matter how far down it is on the list.
At least that is how it is with me.
I don't check out "Chit-Chat" because it is high on the list,
but because I enjoy the lighthearted posts here.
I'd visit here even if it were the last section listed.

I agree with Polly in the sense that, to me, "Chit-Chat"
represents a hodgepodge of chatter, such as new members introducing themselves, the weather and any other little aimless type subject that might come along.
