Guys, there isn't a Singles or Personals section anymore. This is the only board for this now.

Strgzr, you might look into the dating site, although there aren't many people registered yet. If you want to get to know people then start posting on threads and become a member of the community. Most people on this side are already in a relationship, so I'm not sure if you'll have much luck with finding a single "chick" around here.

Incidentally, I don't really have a problem with that term, but it did stick out in your post, and a lot of women are turned off by it. You might get a better reception if you refrain from using terms like that (we're also in a bit of a feminist frenzy on another thread right now, so your timing is particularly bad. :D ). Just a bit of advice, okay?

I always hated that term you should ask my husband I go NUTS when people say that....My stepson says it and I get so angry.... i hate the term "chick"flick to... It's just the word :(

Mer, would it matter if it was a woman using the term? Sometimes I use it, as in "she's a really cool chick" or something like that. I also say "chick flick," but only in a derogatory sense. :D

I don't use it... I mean I don't know.. Makes me think of us as inferior.... I don't know... yeah it does if it's male or female...s o..... No biggie though.... Just something about it
