Valentine Love Notes

Since it is so close to Valentine's Day . . . and since Cupid is staying really busy lately with our Ageless couples . . . I thought it might be nice to start a thread for everyone to leave their love notes to their sweethearts.

I will start by posting a poem I wrote for my sweetie and gave to him not too long ago.



"Sometimes when I look at you, my heart stops;
Or maybe jumps a little at something you might say;
Sometimes when I'm lying next to you, you take my breath away.

Sometimes when you look at me, I feel weak;
Or maybe melt when you touch me a certain way;
Sometimes when I hear your voice, you take my breath away.

Sometimes when I think of you, I feel warm;
Or maybe hot in the middle of the day;
Sometimes when you're close to me, you take my breath away.

Sometimes . . . I did say sometimes, didn't I;
No . . . the look, the touch, the things you say;
Sometimes is not right; you always take my breath away."


And for those of you who may not have gone public with who your heart is throbbing for, post a love note and let 'um guess who it's for!!

I'm sending a "love note" to all the single women and men on this board.

Sometimes it's tough to be in that place when everywhere around Feb. 14 reminds you of the love and romance not in your life.

But we all can find love somewhere. Take time to hug friends, call up family and think of the love that is in your life. Even if it's from a friend you met online.

Make an effort to take care of yourself and do something nice because you do deserve it. Learn to love yourself if nothing else.

Valentine's Day isn't just for lovers, it's for remembering to love yourself and friends and family. It's a day of love and we all deserve it.

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you on ageless. I think we've all expanded our lives through the friendships and acquantences we've made here.
