I was reading an article online on how cortisol was related to weight gain. Now I understand why some people who do those fad diets and stuff don't get permanent results. When we get stressed...our body makes cortisol. Having too much cortisol does not help in losing weight. Now that is why meditation, yoga, exercise and eating right helps alot. I think I have too much cortisol myself and I need a long vacation. I hope this bit of information helps you all out in some way :)
