Irony...as God teases me...

This is one of those things that, you almost can't believe...

I graduated from college in May and my parents said that, for a gift...they were taking me on a cruise...

Today, we made the arrangements....

It's from Sunday to Sunday (First week in May), but go down on Saturday, in case something would happen to our initial flight, that way, we wouldn't miss the ship...

Would anyone like to take a guess as to where I'll be flying into?

And as many of you know, this is significant because Becky lives in Orlando. The only problem...is the plane won't touch down until 7 pm. And by the time we get our luggage and stuff and get to the hotel, it would probably be 9 pm or so....

And then, we have to turn around and get up early and catch the bus to the port where the boat is...

Only thing...I guess it just means I'll be making a second trip down to Orlando later this summer, hopefully...

But still...the irony and the teasing that one must be putting me through, is quite the show....*LOL*

Dan, you should have Becky meet you at the airport. Ask your parents to handle the luggage and take it to the room, and you go off with Becky for awhile. Either that, or have her meet you at your hotel. Stay in one that has a lounge. Becky and you can at least hang out in the lounge for awhile, and if she doesn't live too far away, maybe you can even go to her place if all is going well, but at the very least, she should meet you either at the airport or the hotel. I would hope your parents would know to make themselves scarce! :)

BTW, I'm so JEALOUS that you're going on a warm, sunny cruise!!! It's so frickin' cold here, I can't get warm. I'll tell you what, since you're having such a dilemma, YOU stay in Orlando with Becky and I'LL go with your parents on the cruise, okay??? :D

She should meet you at the hotel and you can both spend some time together. Since its a Saturday, she'll proably won't have to go to work on Sunday.

Also, you're probably leaving from Port Carnaveral (sp) which is about an hour from Orlando as most ships leave from the coast. You can meet again in the morning as most embartation start at about 5pm, so there's no hurry to get to the ship. If this is the initail departure of the cruise line, and it is their home port and most ships won't leave until 8pm. So find out what time you have to leave on sunday. good luck.

What's holding you back from meeting Becky, even for a few hours? I'm sure you two can arrange something. But you've made your mind up somehow that you can't fit it into the schedule.

Thank you for the responses, I truly do appreciate them, and I agree with them...

I guess part of what sucks...

I'll be with my parents. They know of Becky, that's not the problem. The thing is...we wouldn't have alot of time together. 6-7 hours is almost a tease....

We couldn't exactly be alone (well, we could...but, not in the way both of us would probably like)...and, it's almost like a true tease...to have such happiness and then, take it away. I'll have to talk with Becky and see what our options are...see if she's available that night...see if everything can be worked out...

Trust me, I want to see her...to hold her...to kiss her.....to smell her and taste the sweetness of her lips....

I just wonder, how hard it will tear me apart...to only be able to be with her for 6-7 hours...and then, I have to consider, how it would affect her....

Dan, if it were me, I'd rather have a moment of love than a lifetime without it. Go for it. See each other. Yes, it will be hard to say goodbye, but you will be so glad you finally spent some time together, even if only for a little while. And, as you say, you will be going to see her later this year anyway.
