You pulled the rug from under my feet.
I never saw that bus coming,
As I was merely crossing the street.
I never saw it coming, Lord.
Without warning, my life is now gone.
Like looking at a tearful movie,
With music of a very sad song.
I never saw it coming, Lord.
As I was lifted into the ambulance.
You found it somewhere in your heart,
To give me another chance.
I never would have expected that, Lord.
Because there's nothing more to say.
But my thanks and praise are with you Lord,
For letting me see another day.
