Addy Sun: This birthday, the Stars, the Moon, the Sun and the Earth all came together, to present to me the best birthday gift ever.....Addy! To my complete bewilderment and unimaginable surprise, my one and only guy, the one who stole my heart, came all the way from Australia to be with me on my birthday. To perform this little bit of magic, he unselfishly resigned his job, rushing to get a ticket to be there on my special day. How awesome is that??? How lucky can one Sunlover be???
Well, it's true - my Addy was here for two of the most wonderful weeks of my life. They were days that will last forever in my heart. Addy is exactly how I knew he'd be - beautiful inside and out - oh, and VERY sexy!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!

Addy Perth: She is as sexy and sweet as I knew she would be...the best lips and a better soul. A nice, soft, yummy, soul to match her gorgeously cute personality. The cutest laugh to match the cutest Baby...of which she is...the most caring and creative mind I've ever known. We laughed, played, talked, dined, danced (a little in our room) and kissed forever.

Addy Sun: The combination of gorgeous green eyes with that bad boy expression drove me crazy!! He is so romantic - showering me with little gifts and loads of cards in which he wrote so many beautiful words - I'll keep those cards forever. The sweetest hugs and amazing kisses gave way to the hottest, steamiest, most exciting days and nights…… the kind that some people can only dare to dream about.
We had the greatest time! Sightseeing was a blast. Of course, the one day that Addy and Addy decided to see the view from the Empire State Building, was precisely the same day that a man decided to jump from the 80th floor!!! Well there you go – now how’s that for sightseeing?

Addy Perth: Exploring the 15 mile views from the very cold and windy Observation Deck at the Empire State Building...was awesome! I lost my gold and diamond ring and worse, Addy's cute little colour changing 'mood ring' she bought for us. We tried looking for the rings around the place where I lost it after we'd finished checking out the aerial view of NYC.

Addy Sun: I felt really bad about losing the rings – I know how much they meant to Addy. But, the rest of our trips were cool. I’m not exactly the best tour guide, but I think we saw NY in our own unique style – giving New Yorkers a little sight of their own – it isn’t every day they get to witness how happy (huge) age gap couples do the town! Naturally, we got lots of looks, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Addy Perth: Aha...it sure was interesting to see the different facial expressions of people as they saw us happily walking along hand in hand and even hugging and kissing of course! The most memorable one was while we were in the car at night, driving along 5th Avenue and stopping in traffic. I leaned over to kiss my Sweetheart and a lady standing just outside my window selling food to pedestrians, winked and smiled at Addy. Giving a thumbs up topped the event...lol. Addy and I giggled.
The other interesting incident was at a perfume shop at the amazing huge outlet centers in Rehoboth, Delaware. The salesperson, probably in her 50's, had a bit of a nice smirk on her face as she realized Addy and I were a couple. (By the way, those that don't know, I'm...well 20 in August, and Addy...well she's reversing in age, so will be about 49 early next year!! – She says that someday, she’ll catch up to me!). It wasn't until Addy dragged me out of the store, as she had sore feet for the later half of the day, giggled and said "Oh boy, didn't she have a nice smile on her face?" I was surprised as I thought most good sales people smile to increase chances of a sale, especially in the cosmetic industry. Anyway, Addy had to drag me back as I wanted to ask that lady exactly why she was smiling...who knows...maybe she had a younger man herself. Oh, we can go on and on about the negative and positive stares and looks we got as we walked around hand in hand or arm in arm.

Addy Sun: Well, I think she just wanted Addy for herself!!! Why wouldn’t she? Oh, and when my feet were sore, Addy just decided to give me a piggy back ride – when was the last time I’d done that????!!!
All of our times together were so much fun, and wonderful. I can’t neglect to mention Valentine’s day. WOW! What can I say, but that it was really a day to celebrate for us. Addy is the sweetest guy – he spent a whole night going from store to store trying to find the perfect valentine’s day gift for me. He finally found a beautiful little teddy bear with a heart that holds a picture. So adorable, so romantic, just like he is.
Before he left, we spoke a little about how we met – here, and of all the answers I’d received to a post, his was the only one I had responded to personally. I never, ever thought that that one response could lead to something so special as the relationship we have now.
Well, anyway, Addy topped off his trip by missing the plane in Singapore, as he’d started reading (something he can’t get enough of) and hadn’t adjusted his watch, which was still on New York time!

Addy Perth: I wasn't reading something! I was just in a book shop and couldn't figure out which book to buy and then when I'd chosen one I couldn't quite figure out whether I should pay in Australian, American or Singaporean currency...which was cheapest??

Addy Sun: All of these days and moments will be embedded in my heart forever. Being together these weeks was really wonderful and brought us closer than I even thought was possible. It isn’t easy arranging two weeks together from Australia to New York. It took so much determination from both of us, but, when two people know they cannot let distance stand in their way of meeting, then they just make it happen, regardless of the effort. We did, and I’m so grateful for this time together. I hope that we have many more times, and days and months and, who knows, even some years together. I love you Addy – thanks for being here babe.

Addy Perth: I love you too Baby. You're the Sweetest thing and I'll treasure the memories of those dozen days we had together in New York and Delaware. I can't wait till we meet again. Mmwah

It really was the most beautiful two weeks I've ever had. Someone asked me the other day, if it wasn't worse having to say goodbye than to never have met at all. It's true that I sort of feel a little lost without Addy here - he truely is the person I knew he would be and it isn't every day we get to be with someone we love so much, who loves us so much too. I know we'll be together again - he knows it too - it's just impossible to believe otherwise. We'll make it happen. In the meantime, to answer the question about having to say goodbye - well, goodbye is only temporary for us and anyway, my response was that having Addy here was worth every single teardrop. :( :)
