Come on now, be honest...

In the threads here,
it has been hinted about that some
Ageless members might be famous in
some way or another.
I have a feeling that really isn't the case,
but I thought maybe an anonymous poll might
be something to gauge that for us.

Of course anyone could just lie
and take the poll saying that they are famous,
but I ask that you, please not do that.

Thanks much-
if everyone is honest,
this should be very interesting!

I haven't done anything quite famous yet but, as stated in a past thread on the OM/YW side, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express once.:)

I'm happy to say that I'm not famous. I'm just a has been romance novelist who'd like to get back on the book shelf who writes some penny ante scripts on the side for extra cash. I know some famous people....most of whom are tremendously screwed up making me very happy that I'm a nobody. And, um, I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express but I DID stay at the Extended Stay Burbank once!!

Darn, and I was thinking you were a famous poll taker....like
Mr. Gallup (is there a Mr. Gallup? )

Ok, there goes one possible celebrity down the drain...

Nice quote poll_lover (should I post this in the politics area?)

Yes Tru, in fact, several generations of them by now. I remember playing a game in 4th grade (Phoney Baloney, it was...what a weird thing to remember...and no jokes about salami ok? :P) with one of the Gallup boys...think he was a III rather than a Jr. or a IV...anyway he was very tall and very blond. Not any younger though!

Wow-
according to this poll.
we have 5 famous members!
Think that is an honest amount,
(or think some have been
a "bit" dishonest at the poll)?

If it is true-
I am very curious as to what they
are famous for-
anyone know?

I have never had a huge desire to be famous-
excpet maybe in the "writing sense"-
but never like a "movie star" or something like that.
I have thought about it though-
and I think a forum like Ageless would be a
nice haven for a famous person.
You could chat with folks and make friends
without worrying if people are
liking you because of "who you are"
or bothering about "who you are" and trying
to gain an "inside edge"....

So, what do you think?
Think we have some famous people
visiting us here?
<img src="http://ChasingDownTheBlue.homestead.com/files/bligar.gif">

If so:
Hi Famous People!!
Welcome to Ageless-
you can tell me who you are.
I won't tell......

Um, Sage, babe, I think, um, that's the reason famous people don't let others know they're around? So they can have some privacy?

I was never hugely famous as an author, but I was known enough there for a while where people would come up to me in public and, after a while, it did get a bit taxing. I had one lady traipse into a bathroom stall behind me with a copy of a book for me to sign and it turned out that it wasn't even MY book!!! (yeesh, i know more than one author that's happened to) Any modicum of privacy is important because to lose that privacy takes a little more freedom away. (why yes, I've worked with celebrities for a while now, lol)

See, what happens when someone famous who doesn't crave the limelight is around and is found out, people have a tendency to crowd them, wanting to be "near" that individual, even online. People feel they "know" the person for whatever reason they're famous and the person loses all identity. (publicity, modeling, it's all relative. . .) Not to mention they almost always end up with somebody stalking them and driving them nuts. So, that's probably why our famous denizens don't let on they're famous. . .if they're actually famous. . .hmmm, I wonder if Demi Moore is here? I just looooveeee That 70's show. . .

If there are famous people at Ageless,
I hope they enjoy being "un-famous" here.

And hey-
I love "That 70's Show" too!

Well, I'm happy for anyone who has been able to find some bit of solace here, or anywhere on the net from their so-called-crazy-life.
