Back from Brazil

I am back!

It has been a long day that started at 4 am on sunday and ended this monday at 10 am... I am so tired!!! The jet lag is not that big, just 4 hours, but I don't sleep well in airplanes and I had lots of waiting time before and between the flights... anyway, everything went fine and I had a great time in Brazil.

I worked a lot, too, and that gave me a good idea of what will be my life like once I go back to Brazil for good, which I am planning to do in about one year and a half. I am especially excited about the possibility of teaching Pediatric Neurology in the Medical School I graduated from. I had a nice talk with my professor there and he wants me there! Woooo hoooooooo!!!

Anyway, I am back and happy to see my house, my clothes ;) and above all, the snow. I will certainly miss this once I go back for good. :( I will have to go visit my American friends to see snow again! :cool:

Welcome back! And yes - you can come on up to the New England area of the US if you want snow! (Though I might not be there when you make it out here...).

With that young angel face or yours, you are able to speak one of the sexiest languages in this world! :D Your Portuguese is very good, you just have to get used to our expressions, it's like in any language, first you translate from your own and when you really master it, you start using the native's expressions without even thinking in your own language. I understood everything perfectly!

So New Hampshire is a state of New England!!! That is what I didn't understand, and since you two girls are there, there's one more reason to go (other than the snow and that sweet other reason)!

And Tru, my friend, I've got recommendations from my family to give you a big hug after I told them what we went through in London when my backpack was stolen. They said what I knew already, that you were an angel sent by Heaven! :)

I still come here and read the posts sometimes. But as i`m not in an agegap (or any) relationship anymore, i just don`t have anything to add to the site really (in other words i just can`t think of anything to say!!!). Other than music and movies i guess ;)

Jet lag, huh, I haven't slept in about 30 hours, I am just like a lost soul wondering around the house. Tonight I will have to take some medicine, which I hate! :rolleyes:

Hehe Linda!! I am just practicing the non sleeping thing!;) I'll be leaving next Tuesday for 6 days.

I finally took a pill so that I can sleep tonight, though. I hate taking any kind of medication for jet lag, but this time it hit me really hard, maybe it's also due to the little light I get here when compared with the tropics.

As for the tan, I hope he likes it. :)
