HELP!!!!!
I am using Windows ME.
When I am on, say E-Bay, and I click on an item to check it out all is well. When I click to go back to the previpos page, it takes me back however, it goes back to the top of the page and not from where I clicked.
It usesd to go back to the item I was looking at. Now it goes to the top of the page. Sometimes it WILL go back the spot where I clicked, but mostly it doesnt.
Is there any way to correct this It is a hassle to have to scroll down the page everytime. Thanks for any help.

Cowboy

Cowboy,

I viewed a list of items on E-Bay, scrolled half way down then clicked an item.

From the items page, there are two ways to go back to viewing the list.

1) Your Browsers Back Button
2) The link on E-Bay "Back to list of items"

Using the Browsers Back Button always took me back to the middle of the page (or whereever I left from).

Using the link "Back to list of items" always took me back to the top of the page.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Here's a shortcut for you. While you're browsing the web - hold down the [Ctrl] key and press [N] ([Ctrl]-[N]).

This brings up a new browser window with the same page you're viewing.

Thanks for answering SomeNight...

The back button is actually wierd. To be honest, Cowboy, there are times on various websites that the same thing happens to me. The page will be a whole listing of sites...and, I'll go to one in the middle of the page and sometimes when I hit "Back"...it won't take me to the middle...

Some things that might help. Before you click on a link...let the whole web page load. I've found that by doing that, it seems to up the chance that when you get done with the page you clicked and hit back, it will send you back...

Also...when you DO hit "back"....let the web page with all the item listing, load all the way. I've noticed that sometimes, when you let the page load all the way, at the very end? It will go back to where you left off automatically...

Hope those tips help as well..

~Dan
