Ftp

Hi Dan,

My Grasshopper son has tried over the last few weeks to educate me about FTP. I want to send a jpg. to someone via e-mail, and I can't understand how to do it. I have an FTP programme. But I can't figure out how to use it. I copy the url of the jpg. I want to send, and then I have a brain cramp! How do I save the jpg. to my "My Pictures" file?

You would be correct, Nessa!

Gillian, FTP programs are used mainly to only download from an FTP site. You can tell what are FTP sites by the first part of the web address. instead of "http"...it will be "ftp"

But Nessa is correct, that is how you email a picture as an attachment...
