OK when did this start

I saw a thread where the words ***asinate, ***umption, and p***ed were used. None of these words are profane in any way, but the site seems to have used *'s where 3 of the letters should have been.

I thought we were patrolling ourselves for profanity.

Sorry, but I am really annoyed by this.

Good morning Madbess. Yes, I must agree...it is very annoying! I believe the three letters missing would make up a 'dirty' word. There are some issues we are having with sexually speaking...where things are getting a little too graphic. I don't know if this will be temp. or perm. but it's caused by people not following the sites rules.

Come ON. This is the most extreme and ridiculous censorship I've ever seen on a website. Anytime an "A" is paired with two contiguous "S's" it's turned into ASTERISKS?!

I thought we could use normal words. But you know what they say- to ***ume makes an *** out of you and me.

Besides, I haven't looked at the OW side lately, but I know there has been NO discussion of bums, donkeys or idiots under sexually speaking on the YW side. Who could it be now?

It was done due to graphic language used on the sexually speaking side but it has all been cleared up. These adjustments were made because of the swearing that was occuring lately....It is not all in one particular place but we are not allowed to cuss on the site....

As far as the words containing words in it.. I don't know.. I think it's a glitch and because it has the words together... I don't know how they can fix that but I A ssure you that we are all trying to figure that out... :( I know it's agrivating....

Guys, guys, calm down, it's a problem with the filter, it WILL be solved soon! :D

It just started last night, the administrator is not aware of it yet, he probably changed the settings to avoid some cussing around the site and it had side effects.

So relax and use spaces or $$$$$ for a while until we can solve this, okay? And if someone else asks, just pa$$ this around!
