I am very lucky to have brains in my head. I know a scam when I see it. But some people may not...I am posting an email I received that is a total scam. If you get a similar email, DO NOT RESPOND, it is a fraud. I am not a citibank member so it alerted me to something being wrong. Unfortunately I am going to be joining citibank so I looked at the email.

This messaage was sennt by-the Citibank_Online serevrs to veerify your_ e_mail address.
You must complete this process by clicking on _the link beelow and enttering
in the small winddow your _Citibank_ _Debit Card number and Pin that
you_use on_the ATM Machine. That is done for_your protection -R- becourse some_of our
members no_longer have access to their Email addersses and we must verify it.

Obviously if you enter your debit card # & pin, the person who sent this can use it to wipe out your account. I have sent this message to the SEC investigation team.

This is a scam going about. It is not new though.

I know of NO business that would have anyone VERIFY anything in that manner.

Often, when I have had to talk with a rep of say the phone company, they ask for my SSN. Hmmmmmm, you do not have that already? Well, we need to be sure of whom we are talking with.
