This morning I woke up with the Luxembourgish children going from door to door selling Easter eggs they decorated themselves and making noises with a wooden box to call people to their doors!
In Brazil we just get together with our family and give one another Chocolate eggs. In France they make children look for their eggs in the garden after hiding them...
It's a family celebration and probably the day where depression by chocolate deprivation hits its lowest!
Have fun! Feliz Páscoa!

We hide eggs outdoors too....
...and where there are grandparents and parents living seperately, there can be two or more hunts!
It is still Saturday here and my son had an easter egg hunt at his grandma's this morning where he made out with too many eggs and too much candy. sigh.
Tomorrow, on easter, we will go to Theo's mothers for brunch and hide more candy and hard-boiled/colored eggs. This time he will need to share! We will all be out there hunting!
Then, he goes to his dad's house in the afternoon for yet another hunt....
so crazy.
That sounds like a wonderful morning you had Maria!
Hmmm. What holidays will you hit while you are in the states?
Earth Day (April 22nd) THE best holiday (and my b-day ;))
5 May (Cinco de Mayo) perhaps you will have some event to celebrate there? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing there may not be TOO many events there, but if you come HERE to California, there is plenty going on!
I think that is it for the next month, but I'm not looking at the calendar either!
xoxo Maria!
>>edit: we bought two packs of the Kinder Surprise! easter cholocate/toy inside eggs in Paris...they were such a hit...I wish they had that brand here! Deee-lish!

And she'll hit Patriots Day up in New England (yes, I have off on that day even though I didn't get off any days around Easter)...I think it's April 19 or something like that (a Monday).

Yes Happy Easter everyone, wherever you are!
In Australia the kids always wake up at a ridiculous hour and see what the Easter Bunny has left, sometimes hidden, sometimes not. We also spend most of the day outside. It's Sunday today and I spent all day at a family picnic by the lake. It's Autumn here but that means it's still pretty hot and chocolate eggs are quite often more like chocolate mush.:D
Anyway, have a great day all. May the Bunny be good to you!

Gen, I laughed at your "real Identity" Zippy Chickenbuns, lol. Kinda cute, isn't it.
Happy Easter to all of you. May YOU eat the candy I'm trying to avoid so desparately, lol.
