ANyone from Florida?

I have never noticed anyone from Florida on the board. I'm thinking of moving to Venice Fl. for a year to help my parents out. They live alone and are in their late 90s. I really don't want to go because that will mean a year away from my grandson(he's 9 months old) but I am thinking seriously of heading south. Would like to meet someone along the way.

I think Matt may go with me, but I told him I will go without him if I decide to go. I hope he goes.

I think that Suicideblonde and Chatterbox are also from Florida. I know there are a couple of others, but just can't think of their names right now. I would love to move to Florida except for one thing--there are no hills! Otherwise, it would be perfect for me. I visited the St. Petersburg area last year and really liked it.

Hi Abbey!

Yes, I live in South Florida as does Chatterbox, but she is sometimes difficult to get ahold of ... The only way I get to contact her is via Ageless and then once in a while via phone. I have met her and she's a riot on and off Ageless. Sucideblonde lives about three hours north of the West Palm Beach area, but we have gotten together several times. There are some older memebers northward of Tampa or in the middle of Florida but I am not in contact with them ...

Of course it would be nice to meet new people, so "come on down"!!!

PS BTW Patricia, around C***adaga there are beautiful hills, and we even have a few mountains ... nearer the middle of Florida ... check it out ... (that would be close to Linda and me, ;) )
