    New Project for Work

    I'm so excited!!!

My BA is in English; my SO's BA is in graphic design. I'm doing a children's book for work, because I can't find anything that mirrors the way our program works and meets our grant requirements. My SO has just agreed to illustrate it for me!

    YES! *downward fist pump*

    Stories or school book?
    Sounds exciting!
You know it's love when the pain of being apart is greater than the pain of being together.

It's a picture book about where electricity comes from, set in this region, and the moral of the story will be to use less energy out of respect for the work it takes to make energy and bring it to our homes.

It's a challenging project; children's picture books consist of 32 pages and 1000 words max. The 32 pages are usually 16 pages of text and 16 pages of art, or 32 pages that are mix of both text and artwork.

I'm aiming for 16 pages of text, 16 pages of art, and about 500 words.
