    The best Halloween movies

OK everybody, what's your pleasure for the best in Halloween movies? Scary? Funny? Creepy? Sicko?

I'm ready with my favorite vintage Halloween movie on DVD... "Arsenic and Old Lace"
    How about you?

I never watched that one. I will if I ever get the chance.
I like "The hills have eyes" for scares.

There are a ton of scary movies that I love You're Next was one of the newest ones that came out last year that I loved.

Ever since I was a child though my favorite scary movie was Halloween. The original ones. There was something so creepy about Michael Myers and that music alone gives me chills. Even though I have seen them all so many times I still get scared and have to cover my eyes at some points.

The remakes to the originals weren't so horrible. I like how Rob Zombie kept everything very similar while adding new age horror and times to the mix. The first one was so good, the second was scary but not like the first. Like I said, that music alone scares me without even having to see Michael Myers on the screen.

Speaking of Rob Zombie...House of 1000 Corpses - awesome Halloween movie! Probably my all time favorite. Devil's Rejects is more gritty, both are disturbing and definitely part of my Halloween tradition

I watch TONS of horror movies in October....some others I will be partaking in are the Saw movies, Stir of Echoes, Pan's Labyrinth, High Tension, The Wild Hunt, The Conjuring, 28 Days Later, Grave Encounters, The Blair Witch Project...many more honestly but I'll stop there for now lol!

Then there are my campy fav's: Behind the Mask - The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Tucker and Dale Versus Evil, Hellraiser, Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead 2, Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead....I DO like campy with my scares sometimes as well

Yay for October....Horrorfest instead of Oktoberfest for me!!!!

    "Pan's Labyrinth" is fantastic!

I've added two more to my Halloween movie line-up... "Edward Scissorhands" and Roger's Corman's "A Bucket Of Blood"
