    Prayers and hugs.
You know it's love when the pain of being apart is greater than the pain of being together.

Soooo...what was supposed to be liver surgery, turned out to be exploratory laproscopy.

Once the surgeon was inside laproscopically, he saw an innumerable amount of small tumors in my abdominal cavity. He halted his planned surgery, and removed four for biopsy. They were all malignant They are so small they do not show up on an MRI or Petscan. They were caught very early. He thinks the tumors that they saw on the liver were actually tumors pressing down on top of it. I am scheduled for a rather radical surgery on March 9. Its called HIPEC. Basically, its an open surgery where they go in and remove everything they can find, (cytoreduction), then they use ultrasound on the exposed organs to make sure there is nothing in them as well. If there is (like the ones in my liver) they do a resection of that organ. After the cytoreduction, they fill my abdominal cavity with heated chemo and close me up, swiish it around and drain. This should kill of any microscopic tumors. The surgery's nick name is "shake and bake"

The good news is that I have no other organ or lymph node involvement. The surgery could be curative. So keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers-Oddly enough I feel great. So Im enjoying this month with my family

    Thanks for thinking of me!
