    Cannot send PM to a user

    Dear Mods, who can help me? I have received a couple of messages from a user and want to reply but keep getting the message that she has chosen not to receive private messages.

    There must be a system problem, because the messages were definitely not phrased in such a way that she did not expect a reply.

    I am confused.

    I'm pretty sure that what has happened is that the user is able to SEND PM's, but has set their settings so that they won't RECEIVE them. I'm fairly certain this is possible. So, if they don't update their settings so that they can receive PM's from you, then you will not be able to reply to theirs.
