My email account was hacked, but I got a good laugh out of it!

So apparently my email account was hacked this morning and a couple of SPAM emails were sent out to my entire address list.

It was very obvious that it was a spam email--complete with typos and cryptic messages like "this is what we were talking about" followed by a link. I've had a couple of friends and HOG members email me to let me know my acccount was hacked and I might wanna change my password.

While this sucks because I have a lot of business contacts in my addy list as well as the each and every member of my local HOG chapter, my ex is also in that list. My ex was verbally and emotionally abusive to me, and still tries to be, although I don't let his words get to me anymore, I just ignore his rants. He also has antisocial pesonality disorder tendencies, along wth a few psychopathic/sociopathic tendencies, just to give you an idea of what type of mindset he has.

In the words of Truckman "drama=broken." And this guy is a million pieces (along with a few puzzle pieces short of the complete picture).

It was this guy, along with his lust for creating drama, is who provided the humor in the situation.

He took the email VERY personally and send me a nasty text, basically saying "Why are you emailing me viagra ads? Or did you make a mistake? Your poor OM." Knowing him and how he is, he was trying to embarass me, intimidate me, and start a fight. All it did was make me laugh. If he only knew!

I simply told him my email account was hacked and if he opened that email, he might wanna change his email password, too. And if he actually clicked on the link, he might wanna run a virus scan on his computer as well.

Poor guy. But I appreciated the laugh!

    I can relate!

Now that's really strange, the same thing happened to me. I had to send notices to everyone on my email list. The worst thing about it was, my email list included my church friends and the dentist, my lawyer and my In-laws!! I found out about the hacking when my mother in law called and asked me "why I thought my father in law needed Viagra?" I just cant imagine what my Pastor"s thoughts were...ugh can you say....embarrassed?
