You're welcome! Yes, I have been in a relationship for almost 4 years. It's not really what is considered an age gap, he is only 4 years younger. I originally came here in 2004 because of someone much younger. He was just a friend. Then I had a couple of LDR's with guys 12 and 14 years younger. I left for awhile and came back because I enjoy the people. I hope you two persevere. It is so difficult when you have the age gap that raises issues with family and then other issues on top of that. If only we could be happy without any opposition! But, even couples with no age gap can have plenty of issues, with family and otherwise.
