Yes the HOUSE blew up. More details have come to light and it's all over the news. Apparently it was a domestic violence case (not the first there have be MANY calls about this couple this year alone already) the wife called the police and as they pulled up they smelled gas, they ran in got her and the 2 year child out as the husband threw a match into the fire. He also has 7 propane tanks and gasoline. The house blew up and so did the garage which has other gas objects in it, the house behind them go set on fire and the entire top story is destroyed other houses caught on fire and so did 8 cars. It took 150 fire fighters from 20 departments to put it out. After it was out that is when they found the body. The man has been in trouble in the past and on his Facebook from december he wrote a status saying "It's you're gonna go out, go out with a bang, nothing like 40 pounds of propane and gasoline to do the trick" so this might have been something he was planning for awhile. They have yet to release his name but his wifes name and pictures and daughters are out and of course from finding him on Facebook and seeing him on the news, he is someone who I have seen around town and his daughter is beautiful.
They are trying to find out still what lead to this and if he was going to kill his wife and child first or decided to set the fire when the cops ran into the house after smelling the gas. The amount of disruption he did was unreal. Five firefighters were hurt but everyone else is expected to be okay and things will be sort out and taken care of.
It's truly a shame how this had to happen and it's also very scary that we really don't know what goes on in people's minds and how one minute you can be in your house watching TV and then half of your house is blown away. Thank God all the neighbors were able to run out of their homes being the fire spread so fast and was so bad. Within 30 seconds half a block was destroyed.
