The new film King Arthur (Arturius) is fascinating.

You can download the analysis of the research here .

It is a PDF file. It is free.

Most interesting.

Me too. The only part I didn't like was when they were crossing that ice lake and were attacked. And what was Guinevere wearing in the cold northern frozen territory? Why, her flimsy see-thru gown of all things!! How appropriate.. hehe...... Actually, I think it would've had more impact if she was wearing warrior apparel. Imo.

Still here:)
Actally lynn, she was!
Us Scots are a hardy bunch, and used to go into battle almost naked, but painted with natural dyes and pigments, like camouflage. Hadrian's wall was built to protect the poor Romans from us, and King Arthur is generally believed to have had Celt blood.
I thought the movie was fascinating in how it explained all the legends, like Arthur making an entire enemy army disappear, without use of Merlin's so called magic, but showed how the stories could actually have been done.
Troy which we watched the same night, also seemed to be rewriting myth and legend into a more believable modern analysis.

I'm sticking with 1981's Excalibur as the definitive King Arthur film. I really don't like what I've heard about this new one...especially the part about Merlin being more of a crazy hippy than an actual sorcerer.
