Night Terrors

Has anyone experienced this? Dennis as you know is a little over 2 years old... Last night He woke up SCREAMING and would not go back in his bed. He would only fall asleep if he went to bed with me. SO Ilet him lay down and fell asleep. My husband then carried him to his bed and he slept for 4 hours then again screaming at lie 3 am freaking out.. wouldn't go back to bed and again would only fall asleep when he was sleeping with us. He kept saying Mommy I'm scared... AT first I thought it was he wanted to sleep in the bed .. but I've never let him do that I made sure I didn't teach him its ok to sleep with mommy and daddy. However I felt I had to because he was so scared last night. Well THis afternoon My mom put him down for a nap. ( she babysits while I work) and 1/2 hour later he's screaming and crying he's scared.

How did you help him thru this? I comfort him and be there... but it is such a bad idea to after trying everything to let him just sleep with us? If I don't he just cries all night and I can't do that to him...

You know he wont' tell me.....He talks very well but sometimes not on cue.... or expecially in the moment because he's usually hysterical but so tired at the same time..

Myhubby has been letting him watch the ghost busters and of course I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT.. and he keeps saying ghostbusters and talks about them all the time I think its that..

It could be that. The movie scares my little 2 yr old grandson. Has anything changed in his enviroment? Is he being pottie trained or something?

Amber had them too. But I know why now... it is not a pretty story.

Is your son always at your house or is there another sitter besides your Mom coming over? PM... if you like and we can talk more. The night terrors are the pits for little ones.

Only My mom babysits him.....

I think it's the ghostbusters .. thats all he ever says ... Mommy be a ghost buster... OH my theres ghostbusters etc....

Yes he is potty Training ( hes doing ok at that to )

I feel so terrible for Amber......

He's been ok for the past few days..... So I'm hoping its isolated.....
