Hello everyone.

For the past few days I've been reading the posts to gain a sense of the personalities on the site. I have been reminded of the reasons I have so enjoyed the relationships I have had with younger women in the past. Now I am part of the community and I look forward to all I can gain from this connection.

I am a 42 year old male. I was married at 23 and remained so for twelve years. I am an attorney and I am somewhat frustrated with my recent dating experiences because I feel I am desired more for my social status than myself. My last true love was 23, and I remember she cared little for my vocation but rather enjoyed her experiences with me, and I miss that feeling of connectedness. My hope is that my involvement with this community will be as rewarding for you as I believe it will be for me.

You are correct in your assumption that I am not involved although I am casually dating. You are also correct in assuming that I like younger women, but not for the reasons normally suspected by my peers . My preference stems less from the age of the woman than from the attitudes and situations her age tends to display.

Professionally, I am independent and highly motivated. Personally, I am laid back and playful. I like doing things everyone likes to do. I have a motorcycle. I hang out on friends’ boats in the summer and I ski in the winter. I have a couple local bands I follow. I also like a nice meal in an intimate setting and I’ve even started my own art collection. I write short stories and articles, but I’ve never been published. All in all I’m a pretty regular guy.

The girlfriend I spoke of left me some time ago because I refused to open up emotionally. It was a heartbreak for both of us, and I regret my stubbornness. Nonetheless, it was a relationship I still cherish.

I've been here for a while now...and trust me it used to be DEAD! But now we've got so many wonderful new people and the vets are becoming more and more involved. The community has really built itself into a little family. I hope you enjoy the time you spend here.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. No chance to get back together. We've both moved on, and that's a good thing.

Anyways welcome to the site! I am 21 and my honey is 41. We are so in love and happy together. I really enjoy his company, I connect with older men better than men my age.
