Tips on changing your profile

For those of you who are new or haven't modified your profile in a while....

There is a link at the top of the page called "my profile", which has limited options for changing some things.

To get to the correct page that gives you full control to edit your avatar, signature and other settings, I found I could get there by clicking on "Notifications", and scrolling down to the left side of the screen where there's the link "Edit Profile". That gives you all the options.

If you want to change your profile, don't click the "My Profile" link.

Click the "Notifications" link at the top of the page or the "Private Messages" link on the black bar. Then look for "My Settings" in the menu on the left hand side of the page and poke around until you get what you're looking for.
