All this chat about
Valentine's Day got me to thinking.

What gives you the most fullfillment?

Expressing your love
or having love expressed to you?

Oh,
and this is my first poll
:p

Please feel free to post the reasons why
you feel one way or the other!

I didn't vote because you left out the option that both give and receive love equally. A one-sided love affair is tragic. It is important to be to receieve as much love as I give. That is the thing that makes my relationship with Dave so wonderful. I don't have to settle for half a cake -- I have it all!

Peace,
Jane

I was actually referring to relationships
where both partners love each other equally.
I was just wondering
if you felt you got more fullfillment
from loving or being loved?

As for me,
I get more from loving.
Of course being loved is wonderful-
but the act of giving my love
brings me more spiritual fullfillment
and I feel it makes me a better person for it.
