I had a great dinner
With my mom, brother, lady and her youngest daughter. We were just gonna go out with my mom (my brother and I), but I asked if I could bring lady along since she was kinda bummed that she would be staying home for the evening. My mom said yes, so we all had a nice dinner at outback. Cost a small fortune, but it was good and we all had a good time.
I also went and spend a couple hours at my grandma's house. She was happy to see us and we had a good ole time jokin around.

Well my Revlon walk was cancelled because I decided to take my parents to 3 San Diego casinos(sat). My sister got the pc fixed so she couldnt go with us. I gave mom gambling money since I know she loves the slot machines. I also gave her a Revlon curling iron plus paid for an ice cream treat at home. I actually won at the nickel slots(I know Brenda is gonna love this one 
) and gave mom and dad my winnings. We got home at about 3am sunday! Whatta day! It was fun and I actually met this gal that looked like Katie Holmes who was trying to pick me up. I really had a good time and so did they since I love to drive and would never let my family drive. It would be nice to meet some of the LA, OC and SD people at a casino in San Diego sometime.
Tall- I love outback steakhouse! That is one good place to eat and I am glad you had a good time.

My daughter gave me a voucher for 1 hour whole body massage and manicure. did that sunday morning after she brought me breakfast in bed. After the massage and manicure we went to my mums for a late lunch and spent the wholeafternoon eating and enjoying my siblings company.
It really was a wonderful day!!

I called my kid's stepmom and thanked her for raising our children. She thanked me for giving birth to them so that she could raise them.

Well we had NO KIDS this weekend so we woke up on Sunday morning and spent 'quiet time' together. Then Brian took me out to brunch and we went for a drive and bought me a beautiful crystal rose that says I love you. Then we just ran errands and spent time together. We had a quiet dinner a deux on the porch and then spent some more 'quiet time' together.
It was our first mother's day together and I think it was the best one I've ever had.

First of all, I had a nice surprise Friday afternoon when i came home from work - my son had mowed my yard for me. I almost cried LOL . Said he didnt have any money for a Mother's Day gift, but this was WAY better than anything he could've bought me.
On Sunday, my daughter made breakfast for me then she and I went to church. We had nice nap later then did some visiting. Stopped to see my 2 aunts (their kids live out of town), took my daughter to see her grandmother (my ex's mom) then stopped at the cemetery where my mom is buried and finally spent some time at my brother's house with more family. He'd grilled food - so we had a great time!! All in all I had a wonderful day. Nothing extravagant, but just a good day

Quiet Sunday
The first thing I did when I got myself awake (I had been out late on Saturday night) was call my Mom to tell her I loved her...wished her a happy mother's day...
Then my youngest daughter called me and we had a good conversation...
My sweetheart sent me a beautiful e-card and a letter telling me how wonderful I am as a mother and how wonderful my children are...
I talked to my Oldest daughter and we always have fun talks together...
Was worried the son wasn't going to call...but he finally called late in the evening...and talked to me for 2 1/2 hours! Yeah he loves to talk to his "mommy" ~laughs~
After he got off the phone I went to bed...it was a nice day...the first time I have ever been away from all of my children on Mother's Day...but it was nice...

Made my mother her favorite soup and just hung out for the day. My kid was sweet (gave me a boquet that he bought with his own money), when he was around (went to some place to play games, what do I want from the kid?) Got to talk to Mon Ange on the phone.

Yes there are casinos here vegas style. Thanks to the state govt, the local indians here dont need to ask for govt money which means tax payers money to support themselves. They are now self sufficient and plus it is about a 2 hour drive from where I live. I love nickel slots because they last longer. What slot machines do you play?

Took a 45 minute drive with my 15 year old, at her request, to the ocean. We sat on a blanket and froze our butts off while having this awesome conversation about guys.

My daughter came home from college and I was happy to see her. She had gotten me some flowers and a card. She is not able to afford flowers and she had gotten me carnations and lillies, daisies, and other stuff I don't know the name of. She told me that the lady in charge of gardening at her college was outside her apartment and she stopped to talk to her and the lady gave her all these free flowers with a nice vase. I thought that was so sweet. My middle daughter hired someone to mow the yard with her money saved from work. YEAH! and my son (14) didn't sass me all day. ha That was his gift. They let me watch what I wanted to on t.v. and do what I wanted to do.
On Sunday after church we went with some other family members to the nursing home to see my mom. I live behind the nursing home, so we just walked over. My niece brought her guitar and sang some mom songs for her. We brought her flowers and cards. There is this Christian music song called "I AM" with words like, Oh gently lay your head upon my chest, and I will comfort you like a mother, while you rest......" So that was enjoyed by my mom.
It was just a nice relaxing day and oh yeah, my neighbor, also a single mom brought me some inpatients from her flower garden she had left over and my sister brought me a crepe myrtle tree so I planted those in my flowerless yard.

Mother's Day
At my mother's request, my brothers and sisters-in-law and I spent the day fixing problems in the house, working in the yard, etc. She didn't want any presents, but we got her a new barbecue anyway (her old one was broken). I put it together and we grilled hot dogs (for lunch) and steaks (for dinner) on it.
